明日の卒業式に向けて、全校で総練習をしました。 その後、皆勤賞、優良賞、特別賞（生徒会活動）の表彰がありました。 みんなは大きな拍手で３年間の立派な積み重ねを讃えていました。 明日は、それぞれの思いを胸に卒業してゆきます。

３年生の生徒は聖愛での最後の時間を過ごしています。 昨日から出校し、卒業式の練習を行っています。 これは卒業証書を受け取り方を練習している場面です。
Seiai's graduating third-year students are at school once again to practice for next Wednesday's graduation ceremony.

今日はあたたかいおだやかな日です。 校庭の雪もだいぶ解けました。 明日から３年生が卒業式準備のために出校することになります。
It is nice and warm today, which is quite rare for February. The snow all around the school is melting and the sun is shining. Tomorrow the third-year students will come to school to practice for the graduation ceremony.

高校の入学試験です。早くから車の列ができました。昨日からかなり温かく融けた雪が氷になって危ない道路でしたが試験の方は無事に終えることができました。
Students who wish to enter Seiai for the upcoming 2006-2007 school year took the entrance exam today.

明日は聖愛高校の入学試験。授業を１時間で切り上げ、生徒たちも掃除と会場づくりをしました。机に受験番号が貼られています。車での送迎が多いので校庭ではいつもより大がかりな除雪作業が行われました。
Students prepared the school for entrance exams by cleaning the school. Also, much snow was removed from the parking lot to accomodate those test-takers who are driven here by their parents.

今日は第１回弘前学院聖愛中学校入学者説明会が行われました。 吹奏楽部と音楽部による校歌・讃美歌の演奏により、新しい学校が幕を開けました。 そして、古い古い礼拝堂は新しい時代の息吹を感じさせる、聖愛中学生を迎え入 れました。
An explanatory meeting was held for students who will enter Seiai Junior High School. Seiai's brass band and music clubs performed the school song and hymns.

毎年この時期に東京山谷にある「まりや食堂」にお米を送っています。 「まりや食堂」は日雇いの労働者たちに安い値段でお弁当を提供しているところです。 今年も生徒・教職員がお米を持ち寄りました。ひとり一合と呼びかけましたが、１４２ｋｇのお米と２６枚のお米券が集まりました。 今日東京に向けて発送されました。
We all sent rice to the Maria Restaurant in Tokyo. This restaurant provides food and employment for underpriveleged and homeless people. Seiai's total contribution was 142 kg. of rice and 26 rice coupons.

弘前駅前市民ホールを会場に中南西北支部演劇部　冬季合同発表会が行われました。 参加校は、弘前中央高校、弘前　高校、黒石高校、聖愛高 校の４校です。持ち時間は各校３０分で　したが、聖愛高校はＡＢの２グループ がそれぞれ１５分程度の創作劇を上演しました。Ａは「うらしま」Ｂは「七人の 田中」で、どちらも喜劇です。この写真はＢのリハーサル風景。
Seiai's drama club participated in a joint performance of four schools in the Tsugaru area. Seiai performed two short comedies.

第37回全国高等学校バレーボール選抜優勝大会青森県大会の決勝戦が、 青森市民体育館で行われました。相手は同じ弘前の弘前実業高校。 結果は聖愛が圧倒的な強さを見せ、3-0のストレートで勝ち、 6年ぶり4回目の優勝を果たしました。「春の高校バレー」への出場権を 手にしました。新たな目標にむけてのチャレンジが始まります。 （全国大会は3月20日から東京で開かれます)
This shot was taken during Seiai's three-straight trouncing of Hirosaki Jistugyo High School in the prefectural qualifiers for the national tournament. Seiai's volleyball team will go to Tokyo representing Aomori Prefecture.

二学年スキー教室。上手い人もそうでない人もみんな楽しく頑張りました。来年 はないのが残念。
It is the second year students' ski outing today at Owani.

大鰐温泉スキー場を会場にスキー教室が開かれました。今日は１年生が対象です。 天候はあまりよくありませんでしたが、そんなこともお構いなしに、元気に滑っていました。 大きな歓声がスキー場にこだましていました。
The next two days will be the annual "Ski Course." Today the first year students are skiing at Owani.
